Andrea Cathey is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Maine. Her Master's degree was obtained from Suny in Upstate New York.  She then went on to work in the Emergency room, Urgent care and Family practice, where she saw a wide variety of patients and cases.  

She has a passion for treating patient's pain and overall health. The wide variety of patient care, has given her a broad perspective on the specific needs of patients. National Neuropathy Center is amazing, in that if focuses on treatment and alternative options, that can actually restore function to the nerves, without side effects that some pharmaceuticals offer. 

In her free time, Andrea enjoys her two girls who are eight and ten, along with Rowan, the Siberian cat, and Bentley, the Bernedoodle. Travelling, gardening, socializing with close friends, and reading, are a few of her favorite hobbies.
