Functional Evaluation
Our providers use an evaluation process called a Functional Assessment to review and test the stability and mobility of all body movements allowing our providers to make the most comprehensive diagnosis and treatment options. Following a history and other diagnostic tools treatment plans will be tailored to meet your needs using an integrative approach not offered by other clinics.
Orthopedic Bracing
An Orthopedic Brace or Orthosis is an orthopedic device used to control, guide, limit and/or immobilize an extremity, joint, or body segment for a given reason. It may also restrict or assist movement in a given direction and can reduce weight bearing forces for a particular mobility purpose. Orthopedic Bracing can also help with rehabilitation from fractures, or to correct the shape or function of a particular body part by providing easier movement capability or reducing pain. Individuals who benefit from an Orthosis may have sustained a physical impairment cause by illness, injury or a congenital abnormality.
